Single player The game has a campaign or two for every nation. The game features a day/night cycle which changes the way factions play. The player has a choice to play the campaign scenario or multiplayer game in which they can choose to play one of the four civilizations: Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Teutons, or Slavs (Saracens with the Saladin’s Conquest DLC). Multiplayer battles can take place on 15 maps prepared for 2, 4 or 6 players (1v1, 2v2 or 3v3). The multiplayer aspect of the game provides Domination and Annihilation choices during which a player can have as many as 10 squads. Experience medieval bloodshed like never before, thanks to the cinematic action camera that puts you right in the middle of the battle at the press of a button. The game combines resource management and base building with large-scale, squad-based battles across vast battlefields, all rendered in great detail thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 tech.
